GeoSetter is a freeware tool for storing and displaying geo-coordinates and IPTC data in images such as photographs from digital cameras.
Assign Geokoordinaten
So you can easily keep track of large collections of images and assign each photo specific geographic coordinates. On the integrated Google Maps map can mark the exact place of origin. GeoSetter find more local information, including the geographical level. The images can use additional tags such as the date of the photograph or a brief description will be provided.
Amendment to the recording date
Supported file formats are JPEG, TIFF and RAW formats DNG (Adobe), CRW and CR2 (Canon), NEF (Nikon), MRW (Konica Minolta), PEF (Pentax), ORF (Olympus), ARW, SR2 and SRF (Sony) and RAF (Fujifilm). Other Functions: Display of existing coordinates and tracks in of embedded Google Maps map, manually set of coordinates on Google Maps maps or direct input of coordinate and height values, auto filling ortsrelevanter IPTC fields and height values, change of recording date as when not correctly set the camera clock, synchronization with GPS track files in the format of NMEA, GPX, PLT and other spatial data bearing comparison with already existing copies of images, Google Earth export.
